It’s a happening place late in the evening, so if you want a quiet dinner get there a little early. Get to know the Alphabet District and Slabtown- the oldest neighborhoods in Portland – from the people who know them best. Mike Ryerson and Tanya March are local historians and preservation activists who lead three historic walking tours of these neighborhoods. The tours are $15 (normally $20) for guests and cover such topics as local architecture, history, and legend. Tours run weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
